Users can form both romantic and platonic connections and participate in in-person events such as ‘Speed Drawing’ or ‘Performative Male Contest’. Unlike established dating apps, Sonder relies less on AI to generate personal profiles and emphasizes the human touch. Although the founders are currently still working on the app part-time, they hope for funding to develop Sonder into a full-time project.
