Mole V1.42.0 improves scan performance with partial results for slow scans and expanded cache detection for VS Code, QQ, LM Studio, and other applications. App cleanup can now remove dead macOS app records from deleted apps and unmounted DMGs. Cached folder results remain visible during background refreshes, nightly updates skip identical builds, and status commands align more closely with Mac App health signals.

Mole V1.41.0 enhances app uninstallation with CrashReporter cleanup and progress indicators. Raycast protection patterns are expanded, Codex Desktop and CLI state directories are now protected. Dashboard metrics render faster with background loading, process list displays resident memory (RSS) usage. Binary updates target specific files instead of PATH-first matching. Routine update with no breaking changes.

Mole V1.40.0 expands cleanup capabilities with Git worktrees cleanup for Claude Code agents, rebuildable-cache cleanup for various applications, and OrbStack storage visibility. Battery health display now matches System Settings, orphan-scan lookups are 15x faster, and a new 'mo history' command shows recent cleanup activity. The Font Cache Rebuild task has been removed from 'mo optimize'.

Mole V1.39.1 delivers several operational improvements. The software now supports the NO_COLOR=1 environment variable to disable ANSI styling. Cache coverage has been expanded to include Arc, QQ Browser, Codex CLI, and Antigravity/Gemini. Additionally, VS Code .obsolete extension directories are automatically cleaned up, hardlinked files are deduplicated in 'mo analyze', and memory reporting has been improved to match Activity Monitor output.
